Death Café

Join us for an open and honest discussion about death as it is perceived by the living.  We can’t avoid it so let’s talk about it!

The next Death Cafe will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at The Living Room Art Gallery located in the Visitor Center of Historic St. Agnes Cemetery- 48 Cemetery Avenue, Menands, NY  12204.

Death Café’s began in 2004 with the aim of breaking the “tyrannical secrecy” surrounding the topic of death.  People gather to eat cake, drink coffee/tea and discuss death.  The objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their finite lives.

Call Cemetery Historian, Kelly Grimaldi at 518-350-7679 or email KellyAnn.Grimaldi@rcda.org for information or to reserve your space at the table.

Death Café is free.  There is a $3 suggested donation to cover costs of refreshments.

Please note this is not a bereavement support group.
