Painting the Winter Blues Away 2018

Professional art instructions will help you paint the winter blues away in the relaxing, warm and friendly atmosphere of The Living Room Art Gallery located in Historic St. Agnes Cemetery’s (Menands) Visitors Center.  No experience necessary.  All art supplies are provided.  Each class features a different subject and style to help aspiring artists learn a variety of techniques using paint on canvas.  Classes are structured to provide a lot of one on one interaction between instructor and student.  Come and let your creativity shine!

Jan. 12: 10am – Noon: Painting in the style of Gustav Klimt

Jan. 19: 10am – Noon:  Paul Klee’s Wonderfully Strange Creatures

Jan. 26: 10am – Noon:  Popping up Poppies

Feb. 9:  10am – Noon:  Wild Roses

Feb. 23: 10am – Noon:  Twilight in the Wilderness

Mar. 9: 10am – 1pm:  Lilies on a Pond (palette knife techniques in acrylic and oil) $45

Mar. 23: 10am – Noon:  Afternoon on the Water (in the style of Monet)

Prices are $20 for an 8 x 10 canvas or $25 for an 11 x 14 canvas unless noted otherwise.
