In 2016, Albany Diocesan Cemeteries filmed Graveside Chats that focus on people buried in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, NY; capturing their stories and historical themes related to their time. The chats are poignant, funny, educational and accurately (as best we could) reconstruct the lives of children, immigrant families, entrepreneurs and ordinary citizens who lived in our area and are buried in St. Agnes Cemetery. There are so many stories to tell!

Albany Civic Theater actors bring the deceased to life in this film dedicated to giving the viewer an accurate account of history. It is poignant, educational and entertaining.

We have DVD’s of Graveside Chats for sale for $20, Visa/MC accepted. Checks payable to Albany Diocesan Cemeteries.

Stop by the office and see historian Kelly Grimaldi to purchase a DVD, or call (518) 463-0134 and we can mail it to you!
