Update on Services During COVID-19
Albany Diocesan Cemeteries Update on Services During COVID-19
Through the COVID-19 pandemic, Albany Diocesan Cemeteries continues to serve families as an essential service. What does this mean for you? It means that we are up and running essential services in new and constantly evolving ways, but always with the needs and safety of our families and staff in the forefront. We are taking safety protocols very seriously for our staff and the families we serve.
Our offices have been closed since March 15 to the general public with the exception of scheduled appointments. If you are coming in for a scheduled appointment, we are limiting visitors to two per appointment. All visitors and staff must wear a mask and practice social distancing while in our offices.
Our Community Mausoleums are open and welcome visitors, but all visitors must adhere to the following safety protocol: All visitors and staff are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing protocol while in our mausoleums until further notice for the safety of all visitors and staff.
For genealogy requests, please contact our offices. Genealogy requests are being processed over the phone or email, not within our offices, until further notice.
Our staff are wearing masks, protective gloves as needed, wiping surfaces and equipment down to disinfect surfaces and practicing social distancing.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We pray for the continued health of the families we serve, as well as for our communities and country.
