Founded at the height of the Roaring 20s, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery was designed with a modern view of what a rural cemetery should look like.  The classic 1920’s style of clean stylized lines accentuated by captivating special features is reflected throughout the lawn park layout of Most Holy Redeemer’s perfectly balanced, orderly, and grid-like appearance; making this cemetery not only easily accessible but also appealing to the eye. The cemetery has been perfectly maintained for nearly a century.

Our St. Agnes Open House featured the debut of St. Brigid’s Garden section within Historic St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. Be one of the first families to purchase space in this beautiful section! Incorporating spectacular views of grand Victorian era monuments, St. Brigid’s Garden section was recently developed in honor of the former St. Brigid’s Church founded in 1850.  The beloved Church served an expanding population of Catholics living in the Port Schuyler section of Watervliet, NY for over 160 years.  Generations of families in the community married in front of the beautiful Gothic-style, marble altar and had their children baptized there.  Though the Church held its final mass on June 25, 2011, it will always be a cherished piece of Watervliet’s history as it lives on in the memories of Catholics near and far from their hometown.  Our newly developed burial lots allow former parishioners of St. Brigid’s Church to come full circle and rest in peace in a lovely, historic section of St. Agnes Cemetery.
